What I offer
I am an award-winning public historian who writes short-form or book-length histories to help people understand the past and make productive forward-facing decisions.
I specialize in government histories, especially about national park sites.
I also offer a range of services on local history.
I have written a children's book, with Mott the Marmot, to help children learn about the beginnings of Yellowstone National Park.
