This is Mott, a yellow-bellied marmot who lives in Yellowstone National Park. Mott tells children ages 4-7 about the park's history.
On March 1, 2022, Yellowstone National Park celebrated its 150th anniversary. I wanted to contribute something to this important event, and I decided to write a children's picture book, using images from the 1871 US Geological Survey. I also describe life then and now of the Native Peoples. More info on my blog.
